Dear Diary, something odd happened today. Zoey Wilden, self proclaimed rebel in campus, the girl with the ever changing hair, my partner in traumas. She managed to look through the glamour I had set around me, and she broke her way in before I could even blinkβ¦
“Anything you want, babe.” He nodded away at the remark, his hand coming to a rest on her back. “Again, I’m really sorry for what I’ve missed and not letting anyone know about it. But, that being said, I’ve done some thinking about us and what you mean to me.” He smirked the tiniest bit, a tinge of red coming across his cheeks.
Zoey looked at him carefully, swallowing back the sudden dryness in her throat before chewing on her lower lip. Dread started to flood through her body, starting from the pit of her stomach and stopping just short of her heart where she could already feel herself aching. He didn’t have to say a word. He could have just looked at her and she was his. Thing was… he didn’t know her. Not really. “Don’t.” Zoey cut in, putting a hand on his knee as if it would stop him from speaking. She withdrew as soon as she realised her actions. It all felt so weird when his hand was so calming on her back. “I… Okay…”

Momma: If hating me makes you feel better, I'll bear that burden. You're my bébé, and you always will be. No amount of yelling or screaming or anything else will stop me from trying to fix things between us.
Zoey:
Okay, let's get this straight. You are nothing but a birth mother to me. You might as well have given me up for adoption and signed the forms, because at least then, I'd have been more understanding towards our current situation. Unfortunately for you, I'm not, so get this into your mind: there's no relationship to fix, because there IS no relationship. You might be able to remember me, but I sure as hell can't place you. You're just wasting your breath, old lady.

Gen:
This is all so frustrating. He was my best friend ever in this place, he was the one that introduced me to my own sister, he is my potential brother in law, he was my best friend. Now it's like we were strangers...
Zo:
Well, no one told you to have that massive argument...
Zo:
Look, you can't just walk back into someone's life and act like everything's normal. Ever thought about what he might want? Maybe he just wants to be acquaintances from now on or classmates. Who knows? I'm not him, and neither of us are in a pack together, so I can't tell you what he's thinking. The bottom line is, you've gotta put his best interests before your own. That's how you show someone you care.
Gen:
Not tell him off, talk him in. There must be things he will feel more comfortable talking about to his brother, or me. I can be there and show him the support is here.
Gen:
What? He IS hot! Have you ever seen his pictures? I didn't mean it in a weird way, just. Ya know, a compliment. "Nice you meet you sir, you are as hot as your sons"
Zo:
Right... Again, remember what happened last time? I'm not saying "don't talk to him" because that's restricting as fuck, and I'm not that kind of girlfriend, but if he wants to talk to someone, then surely it should be him seeking it out instead of the other way around?
Zo:
You're creepy. I'm gonna screenshot that and show it to the pair of 'em and see what they say.
