Anastasia gave a small shrug, “I was bored.” she said simply. “Are you in need of some alone time?” she asked, a teasing smirk playing on her features. “I’m not quite so easy to scare away, but I will leave willingly if you ask nicely.”
“If by ‘alone time’ you mean nursing that bottle of Jack and smoking until there’s no longer air in this room, then yeah. I’m in need of some alone time.” Zoey grinned over at the other girl and kicked up the bottom of her messily arranged duvet that had been dragging along the floorboards to reveal the glass bottle beneath her bed. “Of course, there’s always room for two.”
